The Jasmine Room was opened in 2001 by Kathleen with the help of her late mother Rose Wilson, in a building that has both character and nostalgia as it once housed the grocery store her grandfather opened in 1918. Customer service and community are still at the heart of the business where customers are welcomed as ‘friends and family’.

The Jasmine Room consists of both a boutique, filled with unique home decor, heartwarming gifts, bath items, and clothing displayed amongst antiques; and through the archway – a Tearoom. This gorgeously adorned shop and luncheon spot cater to the whimsical soul in us all. Shop to your heart’s content, or sit down to a lovely lunch of homemade soup, salads, sandwiches, scones, desserts and even High Tea. Of course there’s plenty of tea to choose from – over 200 varieties in fact, that you can either sip while you’re here or take with you when you go. Great pride is taken in the tea selection which includes house blends, herbal and fruit teas, black, green, white, oolong, pu-erh, and wellness blends.
