Menageri Fibre Shop
What started out as a hobby became a passion. As I raised my sheep I learned of the many faces and benefits of wool. It is naturally dust mite repellant, anti-bacterial, mould and mildew resistant, fire retardant, warm in winter, cool in summer and wicks moisture away. My product has not been treated with any chemicals. I live south of Spruce Grove on a small acreage. My personal flock are mainly specialty fibres such as blue faced leicester and cotswold and are raised ethically. I support local sheep farmers by purchasing their fleeces for a fair market value, have them processed at Custom Woolen Mills near Carstairs, Alberta. I then use that processed wool to make my pillows, duvets and mattress pads by hand.
