   I farm with my wife Megan and we raise Dorper sheep near Arrowwood, AB. The farm focuses on the accelerated breeding program and we find that the Dorper is a perfect breed for this specific operation. A lot of my focus is on holistic grazing management. We run just over 400 sheep on our farm and are actively expanding! The sheep are well protected by three livestock guardian dogs, Simon, Henry and Gloria. Rosie our Border Collie helps to rotate our flock as they graze on the lush grasses of the valley with which we reside.   

   We are still the same team that brings you the same beef, eggs and other farm products as before but are happy to represent the history of the colony and get a feel for what we do. All of our product is grown right here on our farm. Our beef, our poultry, our pork…. all our grains and vegetables as well.    In 2011, we also made a decision to start using certified organic grains to raise our chickens and turkeys and laying hens. We did not want to feed our animals GMO (genetically modified organisms) grain anymore! We really believe we are what we eat! We especially want to thank all of our customers that buy our products!
