We are transitioning to a members’ club and are very excited about this! As you may know the purpose of GFGU is to support the communication between farmers and their customers, to make buying their products so much easier. And being a membership gives us advantages to access quantity buying that pass on those savings to you!

There are other perks too. We are going to be offering free products each month if you want to order them (1 per order please!), reduced delivery fees and more!

Zoom Meet & Greet

These online meetings are about an hour long and features 1 to 2 farmers and/or who share their passions, how the food is produced and are available for any questions you have! Recently one participant was asking about avian flu. At another time there were questions about liver for their dogs. If you want to know, to have an interesting and fun time… This is the event you want to join!

Our General Newsletter is light-hearted with newsy items, new vendors across Alberta and new areas that are opening up. We have recipes from the farmers and links to new blog items. We send these emails out 1-2 times a month based on what is new.

Private Membership Association
PMA NEWSLETTER


PMA. There are a 1000 reasons to create a membership. 
We are in the beginning stages of creating a private membership for people who are interested.
One purpose for the PMA is to allow members first access to products and to purchase food if they choose before it is open to the general public. 
There will also be items available only to members.
It is also to create community, support for each other and to support the delivery of food and other items to each other to offset any scarcity and create food security.
It is interesting talking about the nature of food security because for myself, as someone who taught personal development, it was to help people choose to live abundant lives. Fear is limiting and shuts us down. So even though this membership is to promote food abundance, it is important to always remember your neighbour. We will in time also have coupons for people who cannot afford food. We need to remember our humanity and hold to those values we know are uplifting and define us as empowered individuals.

The newsletter will be for general information and updates as to the process. 
We will cease to use it once everything is set up and will have a chat room for members as well as other member newsletters and information.
Membership will be limited to 30 people to start with.
Once we have the proper membership application process in order, we will also have the rules and ethics you will need to sign and agree to in order to become a member. We are delivering in Calgary and Lethbridge areas and are alternate weeks. If you would like to receive reminders, subscribe to the 'Area Shopping' that is specific to your area.
Meet and Greet Zoom are approximately every 2  to 3 weeks and usually on a Tuesday. Farmers come and speak, sharing what they do and are there to answer any questions you might have. This list will give you details of the upcoming Meet and Greet, and send you the Zoom link directly.
