Our News!

Quite a bit has happened since our meeting on the 14th Jan. Thank you Tony for hosting the event at your home. What wonderful hospitality!

Our site https://growingfromthegroundup.org is up. There is still a lot of work to be done, farmers added, posts written, and recipes uploaded. But it's all fun! What's there not like about food?

A SNEAK PEAK!
OUR NEW VENDORS!

3 New Farmers!

Tomatoes, Peppers and Cucumbers, Stone Milled Flour and Old World Grains, Eggs and Beef!
James van Voorst is joining our venture (Voorst Greenhouses) and begins his planting in February, so I anticipate having fresh produce maybe in April? Perhaps I am being overly zealous! And we have a grain farmer,

Herma Van Garderen (Van Garderen Ranch). She offers stone milled flour and old world grains! When products are ready to go, you will be the first to know!

Windy Vista Farms (formerly Country Lane Naturals) will be selling Grass Fed Beef and Free Range Eggs with us as well! What next? Honey and a Bakery? It's the suspense!

Our Launch Date!

We will be opening our doors sometime in February and we need people to be volunteer customers, farmers, drivers and sorters. We have some people signed up but we need more volunteers to do the trial runs, make sure everything runs smoothly before we open it up fully to customers.

DO YOU KNOW ANY FARMERS?
Egg farmers, cheese and honey and a few other items... at home moms and pops making candles, jamming, canning, soaps, clothing? We have room for everybody!
